TMI’s Citizenship Test Preparation lessons are designed for individuals seeking to gain U.S. citizenship. These one-on-one or small group lessons prepare students for the citizenship exam that is administered by the USCIS (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services) and cover key exam topics; Civics, U.S History and Government, Geography, and the N-400 application for naturalization. In addition to ensuring students can answer the 100 civic questions on the naturalization exam, lessons will include English reading and writing practice so that students are prepared for the English test. In addition to teaching civics and test-related vocabulary, we will teach interview strategies and tips so students can easily understand and answer interview questions.

The TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is an English language exam for international students who plan to attend a university in the United States and need to prove their English language skills. Many universities consider the TOEFL the most appropriate test to use when making admissions decisions for non-native English speakers. Our TOEFL preparation lessons are customized to meet the needs of each student. Our lessons are designed to not only provide students with the skills to successfully pass the test, but we also provide the students with the skills to continue learning in an academic English-only setting.
